Our last beneficiary for this years race is Gracehaven. Gracehaven was founded to care for the growing number of victims of domestic minor trafficking. More than 1,000 minors are trafficked in Ohio annually. Gracehaven makes a difference in Central Ohio by education, over 3,000 teens were touched by Gracehaven last year with their education program. Also, over 500 teachers, social workers and church leaders were given prevention training. While 41 survivors were given the support services that they needed. Please help us continue to bring hope in this area of our community by registering for Feet for Hope 5K or our Kids Fun Run. We hope to see you at the starting line!
One of our new beneficiaries this year is Heartbeats. Heartbeats is a non-profit Christian ministry. They offer emotional, physical and spiritual support to those who find themselves in the midst of an unexpected pregnancy. Obeying Christ’s command to love, they desire to be His hands and feet and provide the best possible services. They are making a difference in our community by seeing over 3,000 clients in a year and giving free services like ultrasounds to over 1,ooo people. Please join us in giving hope in our community by registering for Feet for Hope 5K or our Kids Fun Run and supporting what Heartbeats is doing in our community. Hope to see you at the starting line!
This year we have changed the name of our 5K to Feet for Hope 5K so that we could broaden our reach in helping those in our community. Our race is 100% sponsor funded so that every registration dollar goes directly to our beneficiaries. In broadening our reach we have added two new beneficiaries to our race this year, Heartbeats and Gracehaven. But we are still supporting our local food pantries like Storehouse for Jesus, who are making a difference in Central Ohio by giving hope to those who are in need of food. Over 250,000 individuals will receive emergency food in Central Ohio this year. Please help us make a difference by registering for Feet for Hope 5K or our Kids Fun Run. We hope to see you at the starting line!
